Talim is a young girl who sets out on a journey to rid the world of the evil sword, Soul Edge, after she felt its evil aura. As the last priestess of the Wind Deity honored by her people, Talim has the ability to read the wind and ask for its guidance. She fights with elbow blades and demonstrates a fast and close range fighting style.

Talim made her debut in 2003's Soul Calibur II for the XBox, Gamecube, Playstation, and Arcade. Her introduction to the series was notable for two reasons; she was the first Filpina fighting game character ever and she was also the smallest fighter in the Soul series, until the introduction of Amy Sorel. Talim again appeared in Soul Calibur III for the PS2 in 2005, Soul Calibur IV for the XBox 360 and PS3 in 2008, and will also appear in Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny for the PSP.
